Renaissance Hotel is located in Derzhinskogo Prospect (Avenue) in Minsk and belongs to an international brand "Marriott". The first thing that distinguishes it from the other Minsk hotels is the lack of stars: American hotel is not classified in stars, but categories. Minsk Renaissance Hotel is of the luxury category, one of the highest.
The hotel is targeting at business people that visit Minsk for weekends and congress tours. Guests from Russia, as well as Europe and USA, where Marriott network is well known, are expected to fill the rooms of the hotel. During the hockey championship the delegations of 6 participating countries - hockey teams of Canada, Norway, Slovakia, Denmark, Czech Republic and Sweden - will live at Renaissance Hotel.
The hotel offers 267 rooms, most of which are Standard rooms with a large bed. There are also rooms of such categories as Senator Suite, Corner Suite, Junior Suite, Ambassador Suite, Presidential Suite and Penthouse Renaissance.
Flexible pricing will be applied at the hotel: each day when checking in without booking a new price will be set. Most of the Belarusian hotels have the fixed prices for rooms practically all year around. However it is changing now. The international standards are so, that supply and demand, seasonality, events that take place in the city are needed to be taken into consideration. On the basis of that an everyday price for the year is set, but then it is changing daily depending on the orders and cancellations.
Depending on the season, the minimal price for Standard Room will equal around $250, for the most expensive Presidential Suite - about $1,300-1,600.
Minsk Renaissance Hotel is equipped according to the Marriott international standards, all interior items are delivered from abroad according to the brand book, including the hospitality products: shower gels, body lotions, shampoos and hair conditioners. The interior is in European business style with Belarusian nature motives.
The staff of the hotel is also international - for example, the hotel manager is Jesper Francl from Denmark, the operational director who supervises the work of maids, IT specialists and all the work activity is Swedish, the restaurant chef is Mexican, the restaurant director is Latvian, the financial director is Bulgarian.
Despite the fact that the hotel is brand new and not presented in the mass media on a large scale, potential guests are already calling and writing willing to book a room. For now they get in a waiting list.
Apart from the rooms themselves, there are a gym, spa, saunas, a pool in the hotel. And on the ground floor the guests can enjoy the dishes of Belarusian, European and original cuisines at Arborea Restaurant.
Minsk Renaissance Hotel will welcome guests on May 1, 2014.
