The first private restaurant-beerhouse “Rakovsky Brovar” has been well-known among judges of beer and cuisines even from abroad for a long time.
It has 2 floors and is divided into halls: “Beer Hall”, “Hunter’s Hall”, “Sports Hall”, “Vienna Hall” and “Belarusian Hall”. In addition to this there is a bar on both floors. In summer there is also a 2-level terrace. Due to its big size “Rakovsky Brovar” can host 320 persons at a banquet and 500 at a stand-up party. There is a separate banquet hall for 20 persons.
The most popular dishes among visitors are appetizing steaks, soup goulash in bread, rulka (ham hock), lobsters, snacks for beer for big companies – half a kilo of sausage, and certainly our special alcoholic drink “Veseluha”. Four sorts of unfiltered draught beer - light beer “Grashovae” with pleasant bitterness and delicate hop taste, light beer “Pilsenskoe” made according to the Czech technology, “white” beer “Pshenichnoe” with a bit of sourness and dark beer “Starovilenskoe” with caramel aroma.
The beer is being brewed up just in front of the visitors behind a glass panel. There are also delicacies in the menu: edible snails, shark meat and ostrich meat.
The visitors give positive remarks about the tastiest beer, friendly staff and delicious dishes.
Some negative reviews of the visitors concerned:
- taxi cars parked near the reataurant which didn't give a chance for the guests to park their own cars
- too many visitors (thus too much time spent on waiting for your order)
